How to update a Foundry server

Update the dedicated server when Foundry releases a patch or players receive a version mismatch.

1. Ask players to disconnect and create a current backup.
2. Stop the server.
3. Open More and click Steam Update.

   

4. Wait for the task to finish before starting the service.
5. Update the game client and reconnect.

If the service does not start after an update, open Log Viewer and check the first error from the latest launch.
