Create a backup before changing the world, updating the server or editing its files. Keep a separate FTP download of the root app.cfg as well: a live panel restore test did not recover that configuration file.
- Stop the server, open More and click Backup Server.
- Confirm the action and wait for the backup task to finish.
To restore, keep the server stopped, open Restore Backup, select the required dated archive, tick Are you sure? and click Execute.
When the task finishes, check app.cfg against your separate copy before starting the service. Join and confirm the expected factory has loaded before deleting any newer backup.
