How to Spawn Dinos on Your ARK Server

ARK admins can spawn dinos from the in-game admin console. You need admin access before these commands will work.

1. Become admin first: Using admin commands, and whitelisting admins on your ARK server.
2. Join the server and open the console.
3. Enable cheats if using the admin password:

   enablecheats YOURADMINPASSWORD

4. Spawn a simple Rex near you:

   admincheat Summon Rex_Character_BP_C

5. Spawn a level 150 Rex in front of you:

   admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/Dinos/Rex/Rex_Character_BP.Rex_Character_BP'" 500 0 0 150

Blueprint paths must be exact. If a command does nothing, check the path, quotes, and your admin access.

Command safety

Run commands exactly as shown and start with a harmless command where possible. Commands that spawn items, change players, or alter the world can affect active players immediately.

If a command fails, check that admin access or RCON is enabled, confirm the command syntax for your game version, and review the console output for the exact error message.
