How to delete game modes on your Battalion 1944 server

1. Log into your control panel.

2. Enter your configuration files.

3. Select Text Editor on DefaultGame.ini

4. Find the line that follows: /Script/ShooterGame.BattalionGameMode

5. Below this,find the following modes and delete those you wish to:

+ModeRotation=/Script/ShooterGame.TDMGameMode

+ModeRotation=/Script/ShooterGame.DOMGameMode

+ModeRotation=/Script/ShooterGame.CTFGameMode

+ModeRotation=/Script/ShooterGame.BombGameMode

6. Save the changes to the file and restart your server.

Before you start

Make one change at a time and keep a note of what you changed. If the server is active, warn players before restarting or applying settings that may disconnect them.

If you get stuck

Check the control-panel console or latest log output for errors. If you submit a support ticket, include the server name, the change you made, and the exact error message.

Before deleting modes

Delete only the game modes you no longer need. If you are cleaning up multiple modes, remove one, restart the server, and confirm the remaining rotation still works before deleting more.

If the server fails to start after a change, restore the removed files from a backup or reinstall the affected game mode before making further edits.
