How to setup automatic restarts for your Pixark server

Automatic restarts can keep a PixARK server healthy by restarting it at quiet times. Schedule them for periods when players are least likely to be online.

  1. Open your PixARK server in the control panel.
  2. Click Scheduled Tasks.
  3. Create a new scheduled task.
  4. Select the scheduled restart action.
  5. Set the first run time. Choose a quiet time for your player base.
  6. Set the recurrence, such as every 24 hours or on selected days.
  7. Save the task.
  8. Check the task list to confirm the restart is enabled.

After the first scheduled run, check the task history or console output to confirm the restart completed. If you also schedule Steam updates, avoid running updates and restarts at exactly the same time.

Before you start

Make one change at a time and keep a note of what you changed. If the server is active, warn players before restarting or applying settings that may disconnect them.

If you get stuck

Check the control-panel console or latest log output for errors. If you submit a support ticket, include the server name, the change you made, and the exact error message.
