The MOTD is essentially the description for your Minecraft server, it’s the text that players will be reading in their server lists next to your server icon.

Log into your control panel.

Enter your configuration files.

Go into ServerSettings where you’ll find serverproperties, here you can simply change the MOTD.

Save your changes and restart your server, the new MOTD should then appear in your server list.
