Becoming admin on your PixARK server

To use PixARK admin commands in-game, first check the admin password in your control panel, then enable cheats after joining the server.

Find the admin password

1. Log in to your game control panel and open the PixARK server.
2. Open Configuration Files.
3. Open the configuration editor for GameUserSettings.ini.
4. Find the admin password value and copy it exactly.

Enable admin commands in-game

1. Start PixARK and join your server.
2. Open the console with the in-game console key.
3. Run enablecheats YOURPASSWORD, replacing YOURPASSWORD with the admin password from the panel.
4. Run a harmless command such as cheat listplayers to confirm admin commands are enabled.

If the command is rejected, check that you copied the password exactly and restart the server after changing it in the panel. If the console does not open, check your PixARK keybinds or game settings.

Check the player identifier

Use the exact identifier the game expects, such as a username, SteamID64, UUID, or player ID. Copy it carefully, because one wrong digit or character can apply the change to the wrong player or stop it working.

After making the change

Restart the server if the game requires it, then test with the affected player. If the change does not apply, check the console or log output for permission or formatting errors.
