Reinstalling a PixARK server replaces the installed server files from the control panel. Use this when the server files are broken or you want to return the installation to a clean default state.
Before you reinstall: take a backup if you need to keep your world, configuration, or uploaded files. A reinstall can overwrite server files and may remove custom changes depending on the service setup.
Reinstall the server
- Log in to your game control panel and open the PixARK server.
- Stop the server and wait until it is fully offline.
- Open the Actions tab.
- Click Reinstall.
- Read the confirmation prompt, then confirm the reinstall if you are happy to continue.
- Wait for the reinstall task to finish before starting the server again.
After reinstalling
Start the server and check that it reaches an online state. If you restored configuration files or uploaded a previous save, restart once more after those changes so PixARK loads the files cleanly.
If the reinstall fails, stays queued, or the server will not start afterwards, submit a support ticket before making repeated reinstall attempts.
