DZSA Launcher support is added with the server-side DZSA/DZSAL package, usually named DZSALModServer in Mod Manager. This is not installed from the normal Steam Workshop mod grid, and it does not replace the normal DayZ mod setup. Your Workshop mods, keys, mission edits, and startup settings still need to be installed correctly.
- Open your DayZ server in the control panel.
- Click Mod Manager.
- Look for DZSALModServer, DZSA Launcher, or a similarly named DZSA/DZSAL server package.
- Click Install on the DZSA/DZSAL server package.
- Wait for the install task to finish, then restart the server.
- Install and configure your normal DayZ Workshop mods separately using How to add mods to your DayZ: Standalone Server.
- After the server is online, search for it in DZSA Launcher and confirm the listed mod set matches the mods installed on the server.
- Ask a player to test joining through DZSA Launcher with the same mod list.
| Part | What it is for |
|---|---|
| DZSALModServer / DZSA server package | Adds server-side DZSA Launcher support so the server can be listed and handled correctly by DZSA Launcher. |
| Steam Workshop mods | The actual gameplay/map/item mods your server runs. These still need normal Workshop install steps, keys, mission edits, and startup configuration where required. |
| Server logs | Used to confirm whether DZSA and the installed Workshop mods loaded correctly after restart. |
If Mod Manager is missing, access is denied, or no DZSA/DZSAL package appears, submit a support ticket and ask for DZSALModServer support to be checked on your DayZ server. Include the server name, Workshop mod list, and latest startup log if players still cannot join through DZSA Launcher.
