How to change the map cycle on your Insurgency server

mapcyclefile tells Insurgency which rotation file to load. The package includes ready-made cycles for common modes.

1. Stop the server and edit server.cfg.
2. Set mapcyclefile to the required file name.
3. Save and start the server.

Examples include mapcycle_cooperative.txt, mapcycle_firefight.txt, mapcycle_push.txt, mapcycle_skirmish.txt and the default mapcycle.txt.

mapcyclefile "mapcycle_cooperative.txt"

Choose a cycle that matches the active playlist. A PvP-only rotation will not produce the intended result with a co-operative playlist.
