How to change your Sons of the Forest server name and password

The public name and join password are stored in dedicatedserver.cfg. An empty Password value leaves the server open.

Stop the server and open Configuration Files.
Click Text Editor beside dedicatedserver.cfg.
Change ServerName and Password, keeping both values inside double quotes.
Click Save & Exit, start the server and search for the new name.

"Password": "ExamplePassword",

Passwords can contain up to 40 characters. Keep the commas and the rest of the JSON unchanged.
