Trusted Steam accounts listed in ownerswhitelist.txt receive the highest in-game server role. Owners can promote other players, remove roles, kick guests and manage bans from the pause menu.
- Find the account Steam ID from Steam Account Details.
- Stop the server and open Configuration Files.
- Click Text Editor beside
ownerswhitelist.txt.
- Add one Steam ID per line. A line beginning with
#is a comment.
- Click Save & Exit, start the server and reconnect.
Only add people you trust. Once connected, an owner can use Pause Menu > Players to assign the lower administrator role to another player.
