Ylands server permissions are configured in the control panel by adding a BI account ID and privilege level. Add one permission entry per line.
Before you start
- You need the player's BI account ID.
- You need access to the server control panel.
- Restart the server after changing permissions.
Add an admin
- Log in to your control panel and open the Ylands server.
- Go to Settings, then General.
- Find Permissions.
- Add the BI account ID and privilege level in this format:
bi XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX 1000Use one entry per line. Save the changes, then restart the server.
Privilege levels
| Level | Description |
|---|---|
-1 | Player is banned. |
0 | Default player access. |
>= 100 | Player is an admin. |
1000 | Maximum level shown in the original Ylands permission format. |
Troubleshooting
If the player is not admin after restart, check the BI account ID, confirm the line has the bi prefix, and make sure there is only one permission entry per line.
