How to back up and restore your Blackwake server

Create a Blackwake backup before updates or configuration changes. Restoring an older copy replaces the current server files, so newer changes can be lost.

  1. Open the service and stop it.
  2. Click Backup Server and wait for the task to complete.

  3. To roll back, keep the server stopped and click Restore Backup.
  4. Select the required timestamp, tick Are you sure? and click Execute.

  5. Wait for the restore to finish, then start the server and check its settings.

If a backup task reports an error, do not rely on that restore point. Try again or contact support before making the planned change.
