How to update your Dark and Light server

Run Steam Update after a Dark and Light patch or when players receive a client and server version mismatch.

Open the service, create a backup and stop the server.
Click Steam Update.
Wait for the update task to finish before starting the server.
Update your own game, start the service and reconnect.

If the server does not start afterwards, check the latest log for the first error. Mods may also need updating after the base game changes.
