Create a backup before installing mods, editing several settings or wiping the world.

  1. Open your Dark and Light service and stop it so the save files are not changing.
  2. Click Backup Server.

  3. Wait until the task reports that the backup completed successfully, then start the server again.

If the task reports an error, do not rely on that restore point. Run it again or contact support before making the planned change.
