How to back up and restore your Day of Dragons server

Create a backup before changing access lists, gameplay rules or applying an update. Restoring an older copy replaces the current files, so later progress can be lost.

  1. Open the service and stop the server.
  2. Click Backup Server and wait for the task to finish.

  3. To roll back, keep the server stopped and click Restore Backup.
  4. Select the required timestamp, tick Are you sure? and click Execute.

  5. Wait for the restore to finish, then start the server and check the world and settings.

If a backup task reports an error, do not rely on that restore point. Try again or contact support before making the planned change.
