How to update your Hurtworld server

Run Steam Update after a Hurtworld patch or when players cannot connect because their game version differs from the server.

1. Open the service, create a backup and stop the server.
2. Click Steam Update.

   

3. Wait for the update task to finish before starting the service.
4. Update Hurtworld through Steam on your own computer, then reconnect.

If the service will not remain running after an update, check Log Viewer for the first error. Servers using UMod may need the framework or individual plugins updated as well.
