How to add yourself as admin on your Hurtworld server

Hurtworld grants administrator access through a player's 17-digit SteamID64. Add the account to autoexec.cfg so the permission is applied whenever the server starts.

1. Copy the SteamID64 for the account that should be an admin.
2. Open your Hurtworld service and stop the server.
3. Click Configuration Files, then Text Editor beside autoexec.cfg.

   

4. Add a separate line containing addadmin followed by the SteamID64:

addadmin 76561198000000000

5. Click Save & Exit, then start the server.
6. Join with that Steam account and run serverstatus as a harmless permission check.

To remove access, stop the server, delete only that player's addadmin line and start it again. See the Hurtworld admin commands list for other commands.
