Changing your Minecraft server's icon is a straightforward process. Follow these steps on how to change the icon on your Minecraft server.
Â
Create an Icon
- Your server icon should be a square PNG image.
- The recommended size is 64x64 pixels.
Â
Save the Icon
- Name the image file server-icon.png.
- Make sure it's saved in the PNG format.
Â
Upload the Icon
- Place the server-icon.png file in the root directory of your Minecraft server.
- You can use the File Manager on Multicraft to upload the file. Alternatively you can use Filezilla following our guide..
Â
Restart the Server
- Restart your Minecraft server to apply the new icon.
- Once restarted, the new icon should appear when players view your server in the multiplayer menu.
Â
Troubleshooting
- If the icon doesn’t change, double-check the file name, format, and ensure it's placed in the correct directory.
- Ensure there are no other server-icon.png files in the same directory that might override it.
Â
That’s it! Your server should now display the new icon.
