How to change your Insurgency server name and password

The server name and join password are stored near the top of server.cfg.

1. Stop the server and open Configuration Files.
2. Use the server.cfg Text Editor.
3. Set hostname to the name players should see.
4. Set sv_password to a join password, or leave the value empty for a public server.
5. Save and start the server.

sv_password "ExampleJoinPassword"

Keep the quotation marks when the name or password contains spaces. Do not reuse the RCON password as the player password.
