How to update your Insurgency server

Run Steam Update when clients receive a new version or cannot connect because the server version differs.

  1. Back up and stop the server.
  2. Click Steam Update.
  3. Wait for the update task to complete before starting the service.
  4. Update Insurgency in Steam on your own computer and reconnect.

If MetaMod or SourceMod stops loading after a game update, check Mod Manager for an updated package before removing server configuration.
