You can change the name shown for your PixARK server from the configuration editor in the control panel. Stop the server first so the setting is saved cleanly.
Change the server name
- Open the PixARK service you want to rename in the control panel.
- Stop the server and wait until it is fully offline.
- Open Configuration Files.
- Find
GameUserSettings.iniand click Configuration Editor. - Find the Server Name field.
- Enter the new name you want players to see.
- Click Save or Save and Exit.
- Start the server again.
If the old name still appears
- Give the in-game server browser a few minutes to refresh.
- Check that you edited the correct PixARK service if you have more than one server.
- Re-open the configuration editor and confirm the new name was saved.
- Restart the server again after saving if it was already running.
Need help?
If the panel keeps showing the old name or the server browser does not update after a restart, submit a support ticket with the name you entered and the server you changed.
After saving
Restart the server after changing public listing details. Some game server browsers cache names, descriptions, and banners, so the old value may show for a short time even after the server has restarted.
If the old value still shows
Check that the new value is still saved in the control panel, then refresh the in-game server browser or try direct connect. Avoid special characters until you have confirmed the basic change works.
