How to use RCON on Pixark

RCON lets you send admin commands to your PixARK server from outside the game. You need the server RCON address, RCON port, and admin/RCON password from the control panel.

Using the control panel

1. Open your PixARK server in the control panel.
2. Use the panel's Send RCON Command or Broadcast action if you only need to run a quick command.
3. Enter the command or message, then submit it.

Using an external RCON client

1. Open your PixARK server in the control panel.
2. Copy the RCON IP and port. The address is usually shown as IP:PORT.
3. Open your RCON client, such as ARKon or another ARK-compatible RCON tool.
4. Create a new connection profile.
5. Enter the server IP, RCON port, and admin/RCON password.
6. Save the profile and connect.
7. Send a harmless test command or broadcast first, then use admin commands carefully.

Do not share the RCON password publicly. If an old RCON client cannot connect, check that the IP, port, and password are correct, then try the built-in control-panel RCON action to confirm the server is accepting commands.
