Setting up Scheduled Tasks in TCAdmin

Scheduled tasks let TCAdmin run server actions automatically, such as regular restarts. Use them for predictable maintenance windows and avoid scheduling restarts during peak play times.

Create a scheduled restart

  1. Log in to TCAdmin and open the game server.
  2. Open Scheduled Tasks or Schedule Tasks from the server menu.
  3. Click New.
  4. Choose the restart action from the task/action list.
  5. Set when the first restart should run.
  6. Set the recurrence, such as every day, every few hours, or on selected days.
  7. Use the server's configured timezone when choosing the run time.
  8. Save the task.

Check the task

  • Confirm the task appears in the scheduled task list after saving.
  • Check that the next run time is the time you expected.
  • Run the restart manually first if you want to confirm the server restarts cleanly.
  • Warn players before the first scheduled restart if the server is already public.

Edit or remove a task

Return to Scheduled Tasks, open the task you created, then update the time, recurrence, or action. Remove the task if you no longer want TCAdmin to run it automatically.
