How to restore a backup on your Citadel: Forged With Fire server

Restoring a Citadel: Forged With Fire backup rolls the server files back to an earlier point. Anything changed after that backup was created can be overwritten.

  1. Open your Citadel server in the control panel and stop it.
  2. If the current server state contains anything you may need later, create a new backup first.
  3. Click Restore Backup.
  4. Select the backup by its timestamp, tick Are you sure?, then click Execute.

  5. Wait for the restore task to finish before starting or changing the server.
  6. Start the server, check Log Viewer and join to confirm the expected world has loaded.

If the original issue returns after restoring, check changes made after the selected backup rather than repeatedly restoring the same files.
