How to configure your Avorion server

Most Avorion server settings can be changed through the Config Editor for server.ini. Stop the server first so the running game cannot overwrite your changes.

  1. Open your Avorion service, take a backup and stop the server.
  2. Click Configuration Files. Use Config Editor beside saves\myserver\server.ini for the normal server and gameplay options.

  3. Change only the settings you need, then click Save & Exit.
  4. Start the server and test the change before editing anything else.

The same page includes the server name, password, admin Steam ID, difficulty, collision damage and other gameplay controls. For settings that are not exposed there, use the Text Editor beside server.ini and keep the existing key=value format.
