How to update your Avorion server

Run Steam Update after an Avorion patch or when players receive a version-mismatch error.

1. Open your Avorion service and create a backup.
2. Stop the server, then click Steam Update.

   

3. Wait for the update task to finish before starting the server.
4. Update your own Avorion client, start the service and reconnect.

If it does not start afterwards, check the Log Viewer for the first error rather than repeatedly running the update.
