Create an Avorion backup before changing the galaxy, installing an update or editing several server settings.
- Open your Avorion service and stop it so the save files are not changing during the backup.
- Click Backup Server.
- Wait until the task reports that the backup completed successfully, then start the server again.
If the task reports an error, do not rely on that restore point. Run it again or contact support before making the planned change.
