Restoring an Avorion backup replaces the current galaxy and server files with the selected earlier copy. Progress made after that backup will be lost.
- Open your Avorion service and stop it.
- Click Restore Backup.
- Select the backup by its timestamp, tick Are you sure? and click Execute.
- Wait for the restore to finish before starting the server.
- Join and check that the expected galaxy has loaded.
If you are unsure which timestamp you need, make a fresh backup of the current state before restoring an older one.
