How to restore a The Forest server backup

A restore rolls the service back to the files in a timestamped backup. World progress and configuration changes made after that time may be lost.

  1. Stop the server and create a current backup if you may need to reverse the restore.
  2. Click Restore Backup.
  3. Select the required archive.

  4. Tick Are you sure?, click Execute and wait for the task to finish.
  5. Start the server and join to confirm the expected save slot and world loaded.

If the wrong world appears, check the slot value in server.cfg before restoring a different archive.
