Adjusting your Smalland server's name can significantly impact your server's identity and player attraction. This customization is done through the command line interface in your hosting control panel. Follow these steps to update your server's name:

Log Into the Control Panel
- Sign in to your server hosting control panel and select the Smalland server you want to change the name on.

Access Command Line Manager
- Find and click on the Command Line Manager.
- This section lets you adjust the settings of your server.

Choose an Existing Command Line or Create a New One
- Your active command line will be highlighted in bold. You can edit this command line if it suits your needs.
- Alternatively, click New to set up a new command line if you don't have one already.

Update Your Server Name
- In the command line editor, look for the Server Name field.
- This is where you input the new name you wish to give your server. Make sure it's unique and descriptive to help your server stand out.

Save Your Changes
- After entering the new server name, save your command line.
- If you've created a new one, don't forget to give it a clear description for future reference.

Activate Your Command Line
- If you've created a new command line, you need to activate it.
- Find your newly created command line then click select on the right side.

Restart Your Server
- Restart your server to apply the new server name. Locate the Restart button within the control panel and click it.
- The server will automatically restart when you save the active command line or click activate on one, this can be disabled by clicking don't restart.
After the server restarts, the new name should be live. Check the server list in Smalland to see your updated server name, or ask a player to confirm the change.
