How to become an admin on a Conan Exiles server

Conan Exiles admin access is enabled in game with the admin password from your server settings. Set or confirm the admin password first, then use it after joining the server.

1. Open your Conan Exiles server in the control panel and check the server is running.
2. If you need to set the admin password, open Configuration Files and edit ServerSettings.ini with the text editor. The setting is AdminPassword.



3. Join your Conan Exiles server.
4. Press Esc to open the pause menu.
5. Open Settings, then Server Settings.
6. Click Make Me Admin, enter the admin password, and confirm.
7. Return to the game. The admin controls and admin panel should now be available.

Admin access checks

• If the password fails, check AdminPassword in ServerSettings.ini and restart the server.
• Use MakeMeNormal from the admin command list if you need to remove your own admin state.
• Only share the admin password with trusted staff.
