How to remove Conan Exiles mods

Remove Conan Exiles mods carefully. Removing a mod from an active world can delete modded items, buildings, feats, or NPCs that depend on it.

1. Back up the server before changing the mod list.
2. Open your Conan Exiles server in the control panel.
3. Click Steam Workshop.
4. Set Content Type to Installed Content.



5. Select the mod you want to remove and use the uninstall action, or use Uninstall All only if you are clearing every Workshop mod.
6. Open Configuration Files and then Text Editor for modlist.txt.
7. Remove the deleted mod's .pak entry from modlist.txt.
8. Save the file and restart the server.

If the server fails to start after removing a mod, restore the backup or add the mod back to the same load order before trying again.
