How to change day and night speed on your Conan Exiles server

Conan Exiles day and night length is controlled from ServerSettings.ini. Lower speed values make that part of the cycle last longer, and higher values make it pass faster.

1. Open your Conan Exiles server in the control panel.
2. Click Configuration Files.
3. Open Config Editor for ServerSettings.ini.



4. Adjust Day Cycle Speed. Use small changes first, such as moving from 1 to 0.8 or 1.2.
5. Save the configuration.
6. Restart the server.
7. Join the server and check the new cycle speed in game.

Useful starting points

• Use 1 for the default speed.
• Use a lower value if players want longer days or nights.
• Use a higher value if players want the cycle to move faster.

For more detailed control, use the text editor and adjust DayCycleSpeedScale, DayTimeSpeedScale, NightTimeSpeedScale, and DawnDuskSpeedScale.
