Run Steam Update when Smalland releases a server update or players receive a version mismatch. Take a backup first if the world or server files have changes you need to keep.
- Open your Smalland server in the control panel.
- Stop the server and wait until it is fully offline.
- Click Steam Update.
- Confirm the update and wait for the task to finish.
- Start the server and join once to confirm it loads normally.
If the update fails, leave the server stopped and run it once more. If it still fails, check Web Console or Log Viewer, then submit a support ticket with the update output.
