How to update your Outlaws of the Old West server

Use Steam Update when clients receive a different game version or the server browser reports a version mismatch.

1. Back up and stop the server.
2. Click Steam Update.

   

3. Wait for the update task to complete, then start the service.
4. Update Outlaws of the Old West through Steam on your own computer before reconnecting.

If the service stops immediately after an update, inspect the latest log before changing configuration. Repeating Steam Update is useful only when the first update task failed or files are incomplete.
