Changing resource gathering rate on Rust server

Rust does not have a normal server.cfg setting for gather rates. Install uMod and use the Gather Manager plugin when you want 2x, 3x, 5x, or custom gather rates.

1. Install uMod if it is not already installed: How to Install UMod on Your Rust Server.
2. Open Rust Plugins.
3. Search for Gather Manager, open the plugin result, then install it.

   

4. Start the server and wait for Gather Manager to load.
5. Open Web Console.
6. Run these commands for common 2x rates:

   gather.rate dispenser * 2\ngather.rate pickup * 2\ngather.rate quarry * 2\ngather.rate survey * 2

7. Use direct resource commands for specific resources:

   gather.rate dispenser Wood 3\ngather.rate dispenser Stones 3\ngather.rate pickup Sulfur 2\ngather.rate quarry "Sulfur Ore" 2

8. Use dispenser scale if you want trees or ore nodes to contain more resources:

   dispenser.scale tree 2\ndispenser.scale ore 2

9. Gather Manager stores settings in oxide/config/GatherManager.json if you prefer editing the config file directly.
