How to make yourself admin on a Valheim Server

You can make yourself admin on your Valheim server by doing the following:

 

Method 1

  1. On our control panel, go to the server you wish to be admin on
  2. Click on the Configuration Files icon
  3. Next to the adminlist.txt file, you will see a button for the Configuration Editor, click it
  4. Click on the Add Admin button
  5. Enter your Steam64 ID
    1. NOTE: If you don’t know your Steam64 ID, you can search for it here: steamid.io/lookup
  6. Click Save
  7. Restart your server and you are now admin!

 

Method 2

  1. On our control panel, go to the server you wish to be admin on
  2. Click on the Configuration Files icon
  3. Next to the adminlist.txt file, you will see a button for the Text Editor, click it
  4. On a new line enter your Steam64 ID
    1. NOTE: If you don’t know your Steam64 ID, you can search for it here: steamid.io/lookup
  5. Click Save
  6. Restart your server and you are now admin!
