How to find your personal Steam ID64 number

Your SteamID64 is often needed for admin lists, whitelists, bans, and permission systems on game servers. It is the long numeric Steam identifier for your account.

  1. Open steamid.io.
  2. Paste your Steam profile URL, custom profile name, or Steam username into the search box.
  3. Click the search button.
  4. Copy the value labelled steamID64.

You can also find it from your Steam profile URL if your account uses the numeric profile format, for example:

https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198000000000

In that example, 76561198000000000 is the SteamID64. If a lookup tool cannot find the account, make the Steam profile public temporarily or use the full profile URL instead of only the display name.

Keep the value safe

Copy the ID or token exactly as shown. Do not add spaces, quotes, or extra characters when pasting it into the control panel or a configuration file.

If it is rejected

Generate a fresh value and try again. For Steam login tokens, make sure the Steam account and app ID match the game server you are configuring.
