How to change your Astroneer server name

Set a clear Astroneer server name so you and other players can recognise it in the Dedicated Servers list.

1. Open your Astroneer server in the control panel and stop it.
2. Click Configuration Files, then Text Editor beside AstroServerSettings.ini.
3. Find ServerName= and enter the new name after the equals sign, for example ServerName=Weekend Explorers.

   

4. Click Save & Exit, then start the server.

If the old name remains in a saved client entry, remove that entry from Astroneer and add the server again with the current connection address.
