Create a manual Astroneer backup before updates, wipes or configuration changes that could affect the current save.
- Open your Astroneer server in the control panel and stop it.
- Click Backup Server.
- Wait until the task reports that the backup has completed successfully.
- Start the server again when the task is finished.
If the task reports an error, do not rely on that backup. Try again or submit a support ticket before making the planned change.
