How to back up your Astroneer server

Create a manual Astroneer backup before updates, wipes or configuration changes that could affect the current save.

  1. Open your Astroneer server in the control panel and stop it.
  2. Click Backup Server.

  3. Wait until the task reports that the backup has completed successfully.
  4. Start the server again when the task is finished.

If the task reports an error, do not rely on that backup. Try again or submit a support ticket before making the planned change.
