How to wipe your Astroneer server

Wiping an Astroneer server deletes its current data so it can start again. This is not a selective player reset, so create a working backup first if you may need the existing save.

Warning: A wipe cannot be undone without a usable backup.
  1. Open your Astroneer server in the control panel.
  2. Create a backup and wait for it to finish, then stop the server.
  3. Click Wipe Server.
  4. Read the deletion warning, tick Are you sure? and click Execute.

  5. Wait for the wipe task to finish, then start the server.
  6. Join and confirm that a fresh game is created.

If you only want to roll back recent progress, restore a backup instead of wiping the server.
