Changing the name of your Return to Moria Server

You can change the public name of your Return to Moria server from the configuration editor in the game control panel. Stop the server first so the setting saves cleanly.

Change the server name

1. Open your Return to Moria server in the control panel.
2. Click Stop and wait until the server is offline.

3. Click Backup Server if you want a restore point before changing settings.

4. Click Configuration Files.
5. Find MoriaServerConfig.ini and click Config Editor.

6. Change the server name field to the name you want players to see.
7. Click Save and Exit.
8. Start the server again.

If the old name still appears

• Give the game browser a few minutes to refresh.
• Restart the server again if the control panel still shows the old value.
• Check that you edited MoriaServerConfig.ini for the correct service.
• If it still does not update, submit a support ticket with the new name you entered.
