We allow full customization of your The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria server hosting on our platform, so that you can play the game how you want to. Here is how you can get the settings of your server how you want them, you can use the same method to adjust settings later too!
Step 1 – Stop your server
To change the settings of your RTM server, stop your server first.
Step 2 – Open the configuration editor
Click Configuration Files. On MoriaServerConfig.ini, click Config Editor.
Step 3 – Change difficulty to Custom
Change the World Difficulty to 'Custom'. Once changed, you'll see a host of custom options you can now use.
Step 4 – Set custom options and save
Set them as desired and click Save and Exit.
Step 5 – Start your server
Once done, start up your server with the new settings.
Before changing settings
Create a backup before changing world, map, security, or gameplay settings on an active Return to Moria server. Some settings only apply after a restart, and some only affect newly generated worlds.
Verify the change
After saving, restart the server and check the console for errors. Join the server or ask a player to test the changed behaviour before making further edits.
