Restore a Return to Moria backup when you need to roll the server back to an earlier working state. Restoring can overwrite current files, so take a fresh backup first if you may need the current state later.
Restore a backup
- Open your Return to Moria server in the control panel.
- Click Stop and wait until the server is offline.
- If you want a rollback point for the current files, click Backup Server and wait for it to finish.
- Click Restore Server from the left menu.
- Select the backup you want to restore from the drop-down list.
- Tick Are you sure? only after confirming you selected the correct backup.
- Click Execute and wait for the restore task to finish.
- Start the server and check that the world loads correctly.
If the restore fails
- Do not repeatedly overwrite files with different backups.
- Check the restore task output for the first error shown.
- submit a support ticket with the backup name and any restore error if you need help.
