How to change your StarRupture server name

The server name is the SessionName value in the root DSSettings.txt file.

1. Stop the server and open Configuration Files.
2. Click Text Editor beside DSSettings.txt.
3. Change only the text between the quotation marks after SessionName.

   

4. Click Save & Exit and start the server.

The file uses JSON. Keep the quotation marks, commas and braces intact or the server may not read the settings.
