How to update your StarRupture server

Run Steam Update when StarRupture releases a server patch or the game reports a version mismatch.

1. Stop the server and keep a separate copy of DSSettings.txt if you have changed it.
2. Click Steam Update.

   

3. Wait for the task to finish before starting the service.
4. Update StarRupture through Steam on each player's computer, then reconnect.

If the server will not start after updating, check Log Viewer before changing settings or reinstalling files.
