Extinction is ARK's ruined-Earth DLC map with city zones, wasteland areas, orbital supply drops, and Titans. To run it, select the command line that uses the Extinction map value.

  1. Take a backup before switching to Extinction: Backing up and restoring world and player data on your ARK server.
  2. Open your ARK server in the control panel.
  3. Open Commandline Manager.

  4. Either edit the selected command line or create a new profile named for Extinction: Creating a custom command line on your ARK server.
  5. Enable the Map field and enter Extinction.

  6. Save the profile, select it, then restart the server from the panel.

Extinction does not use the same save as The Island or other maps. If you are rotating maps, keep separate command lines so it is clear which world will boot.
