If you're server is not running on Windows Server then you will need to submit a ticket to our team so we can move you from Linux to Windows, which then allows you to install ARK API on your ARK gaming server.

Note that if you update ARK using steam update it will uninstall ARK API and you will have to install it again. For updates, we suggest stopping your ARK server then running a backup, click on Steam Update to get the latest ARK patch on your game server and then install ARK API again (it won't require you to reinstall plugins).
